Last weekend together with a group of friends, we set off on a little road-trip to the coastal city of St Ives. Apart from the insane winds that threatened to freeze off all my extremities, St Ives was adorable. Quaint and cosy, with cobbled streets that stretched through rows of shops and houses. I'll go as far as to say that it's the kind of place I dream of spending my old age at.
To top it all off, i think there was a rainbow convention going on while we were there.
There were 2 that came out to greet us (:

happy weekend & halloween, friends!

I don't know about you but those pesky ipod earphones have been hurting my ears since the day i got my first ipod. I knew I always wanted a pair of headphones but never got round to purchasing a pair for fear of how bulky/ugly it could look.

But when i set my eyes on this green pair on amazon, i knew it was the one.
Now apart from looking like i work in a call centre, they provide me with hours of comfy listening.
There are no more intrusive little buggers in my ears no more.
and that my friends, is one thing I'm grateful for today.

Thou smell of mountain goat- Henry V

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Just yesterday while in Stratford to visit Shakespeare's home, i picked this up as a little present for Ian. It's a collection of Shakespeare's insults in magnetic form. Now, I don't know about you, but the insults people use nowadays are limited to several curse words, usually lacking in imagination or flair. But with this collection of shakespearean insults, one can do so with alot more finesse!

my favourite out of the lot?
"Your breath first kindled the dead coals of wars....."

followed by closely by,

"..I'd set my ten commands in your face."

now those are insults worth giving (;

faux fur is not murder!

Sorry for being such a rubbish blogger. I won't be surprised or offended if you decide to "unfollow" considering how inconsistent I am with the whole blogging thing. But I try my best with the limited internet access and the hassle of moving to a different city.

In the mean time I leave you with this photo that demonstrates my love for the current faux fur trend, taken in Ian's new apartment while i was helping him unpack.
Pardon the fbts beneath, promise I didn't leave the house dressed like this.

I might look like one heck of an animal hater/hunter, but in my book, faux fur isn't murder!

who else is loving the faux fur trend?

be back soon! pinky promise.
